With Holi right around the corner, it's time to add some colour to your food menu. And what could be a better way to do that than by tantalizing your taste buds with some delicious Dry Fruits recipes that will leave your guests craving for more? Without further ado, we're pleased to share the ultimate Holi dessert menu that's sure to impress your guests.
1. Dry Fruits Thandai
Ingredients:
- 1 litre milk
- 1/4 cup Almonds
- 1/4 cup Cashews
- 4 tbsp Of Melon Seeds & Poppy Seeds
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- A pinch of Saffron Strands
- Crushed Pistachios For Garnish
Method:
- Soak Almonds, Cashews, & Seeds in water for 3-4 hours.
- Drain & blend into a smooth paste.
- Boil milk in a pan & add the dry fruit paste.
- Stir continuously & simmer for 15 mins.
- Add Sugar, Cardamom Powder, & Saffron Strands. Mix well.
- Serve chilled, garnished with crushed Pistachios.
3. Baked Rose & Pistachios Gujjia
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 tbsp Rose Petal Jam
- 1/4 cup crushed Pistachios
- Ghee
Method:
- In a bowl, mix flour & ghee.
- Add milk & make a dough.
- Roll each dough ball with the rolling pin into a small circle.
- Place a tsp of rose petal jam & crushed pistachios in the center of each circle.
- Fold the circle to form a semi-circle & seal the edges using a fork.
- Brush the gujjias with ghee.
- Bake it for 20 mins.
3. Mini Fruit Custard Trifle Cups
Ingredients
- 12 Pieces Of Pound Cake
- 2 Cups Vanilla Custard
- 2 Cups Mixed Fruits (Strawberries/Pineapple/Grapes)
- 2 Cups Whipped Cream
- Pistachios For Garnish
Instructions
- Fold 1 cup of whipped cream in custard.
- Arrange cake pieces in serving bowls.
- Layer it with a tbsp of fruits.
- Top with custard layer & repeat the layers.
- Garnish it with chopped Pistachios.
- Refrigerate it & serve it chilled.
