Food Recipes for 7-9 Months-Old


1. Nutty Banana Mash


  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp almond and cashew powder
  • 1 tbsp coarsely chopped raisins


  • Mash a ripe banana in a bowl.
  • Mix in the powdered almond and cashew powders.
  • Finally, sprinkle with finely chopped raisins and serve. 


2. Apple Cashew Porridge


  • 1 apple
  • 1 tbsp cashew powder
  • 1 cup water
  • Cinnamon powder


  • Add chopped apple and water to a pan.
  • Cook over medium heat for a few minutes and then mash them with a fork.
  • Add cashew powder and cinnamon powder.
  • Puree this mixture using a blender.
  • Remove from heat and serve at an appropriate temperature.


Food Recipes for 12-18 Months-Old

1. Nutty Semolina Kheer


  • 1/4 cup suji
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp nut powder (almond, cashew, and walnuts)
  • 2 tbsp jaggery powder


  • Heat ghee and roast suji till golden.
  • Then, pour in the milk and stir continuously on low heat for 9 minutes.
  • Add nut powder and jaggery powder to it.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Let it cool and serve at a suitable temperature.


2. Flat Rice and Nut Powder Porridge


  • 1/4 cup flat rice (poha)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1-2 tbsp nut powder (almond, cashew and pistachios)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Sweetener of choice
  • Pinch of cardamom powder (optional)


  • Rinse flat rice to remove impurities, then cook in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  • Drain water and blend rice with nut powder and milk for a creamy consistency.
  • Return mixture to low heat and add sweetener; stir until it dissolves.
  • Sprinkle cardamom powder for extra flavour and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve at the right temperature.
